The TRBX504 has serious tone and controls for master volume, balance, and 3-Band EQ, as well as an active/passive switch for optimum flexibility. The open tone of the H5 pickups is distinguished by their quad-polepiece design and alnico magnets, which give them the power to drive the active circuit and gently catch each detail in the passive mode.

The Active/passive circuit has a level-matched output and tone-switching circuitry that enables for smooth transitions from treble control to master passive tone.Superior quality gold-plated parts are used for the key signal chain, offering greater conductivity, while the battery alarm LED positioned on the back panel provides fast indications to avoid power loss during a spectacular performance.

The neck is made of 5-pc maple/mahogany laminated wood and includes a bolt-on neck joint for added comfort and a clear, powerful tone. The hours of play-testing resulted in the optimum balance of the neck joint, while the 38 mm (4 string) nut widths enhance to the comfortable playability.
