The Pa700 is a design idea that blends a professional aesthetic with a small profile. A rich, full-bodied listening experience is produced by the 2x25 Watt amplifiers driving the 2 loudspeakers inside a bass-reflex enclosure. Aiming to make every performance feel effortless and natural, the primary panel has been streamlined so that all controls are placed in an ergonomically sound and understandable location. Big, bold, and brilliant, the new capacitive Touch view display features a revised graphical user interface that is simpler to see than ever, even in the most challenging lighting conditions. The Pa700 includes over 1,700 ready-to-play sounds and is powered by KORG's cutting-edge EDS-X (Enhanced Definition Synthesis-expanded) sound engine. It is simple to create your own sounds because there is up to 256 MB (compressed PCM User memory) available. The General MIDI (GM) sound bank has been enhanced for increased GM file compatibility. Additionally, the Pa700 can export in WAV or AIFF and load/import KORG, WAV, AIFF, and Sound Font TM formats. Up to 24 oscillators may now be used for each note in a sound that can be completely altered.
